Following my studies at the RWTH Aachen (German literature/pol.science) I worked for 32 years with Lufthansa (LH) in the aviation/crew sector. 20 out of 32 years I worked as a Purser (chief flight attendant), the last 16 years on long distances. I completed several team-leading seminars as well as leading seminars myself and passed 2 assessment centers.
I led teams up to 22 crew members. Doing a briefing in a short time to reach the best possible performance on the flight from all aspects, was a very important focus in my work. During my employment at LH I did several coachings, preparing new collegues for new tasks.
People, human dynamics and team dynamics always interested me a great deal, that's why I decided to pass my experience on to others through the training as a Systemic Coach Consultant and Systemic Team Coach at the St. Galler Coaching Academy.
You can look at life as you would at a flight. You have a good start, a smooth passage in the air, a safe landing at your destination; or there might occur turbulences, which needed to be balanced and well overcome.
